Getting started with Nakine
Nakine has two surfaces: Discord to structure and protect your community, and Twitch to automate live streams and extend them into Discord. This is the shortest path to a safe, useful installation.
Recommended path
- Invite the Discord bot with permissions appropriate for your modules.
- Open the dashboard and sign in with Discord.
- Run the setup assistant for language, logs, moderation, and tickets.
- Configure roles and channels before enabling automatic protection.
- Link Twitch, then make the bot a moderator in chat when Twitch features are enabled.
Start with permissions and roles, then enable modules one at a time. You will know which setting produced each result and will avoid placing Nakine below a role it must manage.
Available languages
The bot and documentation are available in French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese. On Discord, use /settings language to choose the server language. The dashboard follows your interface language.

Access levels
- Discord owner/administrator: configures server modules, dashboard permissions, and Premium resources.
- Moderator: performs allowed moderation actions and manages tickets/giveaways according to Discord permissions.
- Member: uses public commands, enters giveaways, earns XP, and controls their temporary voice channel.
- Twitch streamer: must link and validate their own Twitch account before Nakine can interact with chat.
Native Discord permissions remain authoritative. Nakine cannot ban a member above its role, manage a higher role, or write in an inaccessible channel.
Before contacting support
Include the server or channel, module, exact command, error message, and a screenshot of the relevant setting. Never share OAuth tokens, secret keys, or payment identifiers.
